OpenID
The real nice part is that it is open-source and free with no licensing requirements. More and more web content providers are supporting OpenID and many people already have an OpenID URI without even knowing it. AIM, ClaimID, and livejournal users are just a few of the people who already have an OpenID available to them.

(well the one microsoft is behind anyway)
Email and email programs need to be changed since too many
un educated people open html script and virus infested emails from unknown
senders and infect default windows.
I havent used my livejournal blog since I signed up with vox.
I will check out this thing but probly wont be fussed with it .
I would love to see a usable certificate system for email similar to what is used by websites for ssl. There is one in place though it is not easy to use which is a big barrier for anything security related. If the fix is too complicated most people won't be bothered.
Emailing got worst with the support of HTML encoded emails
this is were it went bad .
The whole Inbox idea needs a work over
Email hasnt really changed for a long time and needs to get
updated . Idealy if they blocked all outgoing and incoming html
encoded emails that would reduce infection by 80%
