GRRRR... In the past two days I have been assailed by third party software trying to load itself onto my laptop whenever I pop in a DVD. Hot LLama, Twister, and some others... Just leave me alone already, I want to watch a movie not load a bunch of crap onto my computer to see 'special bonus material' that I won't use after two hours. I have limited disk space and do not want it full of programs that I do not know what they are doing in the background under the guise of playing content (think back to Sony Root Kits). When I pop in the DVD I want the movie to start using my default program and I want it to start without throwing up a splash screen and an install dialogue that I then have to work around. Kinda ruins the movie watching mood. /rant
...at least here it is slow posting all that I would like to share. Mostly because life has been busy with a move and other life changes that go with that so finding time to just sit and type has become a very scarce commodity these days. I hope to have all that wrapped up by the end of the year and will try to put something up every few days. Till then, peace.
How did you pick your Vox name? Does it mean something?

Wow, an interesting question. Anim8ed is the name I use in a number of forums. I am a fan of Anime and Animation and chose to use this take on the word animated. By placing the 8 it leaves 'ed' on the end which is my real name. This name can be taken several ways depending on perspective.
What's the weirdest thing you've ever eaten?

This is a tough question. Weird for you may be everyday fare for me. Over the years I have traveled to many places and tried many things. I have had escargot, cuttlefish, squid, octopus, sea urchin, grasshoppers (marinated), a variety of seaweeds and who knows what else.
The one thing that really sticks in my mind though was the cuttlefish pizza I had at Pizza Hut in Japan. That one was totally unexpected and just a combination that didn't work then nor does it now.
I am a diehard firefox fan. I love the flexibility you have with it as is and with the many extensions that can be added.
The two extensions that I feel are an absolute must are noscript and flash block. googlepedia is real cool as well. It saves time doing research by doing a split search on google and wikipedia at the same time. If you have never tried it just click on the banner for the latest stable version or if you are more adventurous and would like to try the pre-release version just visit http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/2.0/releasenotes/ . and check it out.
